Blake Lively recently received what she now considers one of the "best compliments" of her life, and she's still reeling. The Simple Favor star took to Instagram on Wednesday (July 10) to reveal the words, delivered to her by a stranger on the internet, that "mean so much" to her.
"I got maybe the best compliment of my life after this weekend. Someone on social called me a 'crown straightener'. 'A woman going around straightening all the women's crowns around her'. It meant so much to me because it's those invisible things people see that make us all feel best."
The dazzling standout praised all the women in her life, referring to each and every one as a "crown straightener" saying:
"This weekend alone was packed with that empowering female energy. When I looked back at these pics, I saw it all in action. And it made me feel so lucky and loved."
The grateful caption was accompanied by a series of photos of some of Lively's most inspiring friends including beloved author Colleen Hoover, her mother-in-law Tammy, and friends Isabela, Vivian, and Jennifer, among other female acquaintances. Lively concluded the touching post by thanking all the men than show up for their partners in addition to quality female friendships.
