The New York Yankees, the 2024 American League Champions, are set to kick off their 2025 season on Thursday (March 27) against the Milwaukee Brewers. To accommodate fans traveling to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) is expanding its services.

The MTA will be running its Yankee Clipper trains, which include stops in the Hudson Valley region, providing a direct ride to the Yankees-E 153rd Street Station, located across from the stadium. Fans can also take advantage of shuttle trains operating between Grand Central Terminal, Harlem-125th Street, and Yankees-E 153rd Street stations. For those traveling on the Harlem and New Haven Lines, a quick transfer at Harlem-125th Street station will get them to the stadium in just five minutes.

Subway options include the B, D, and 4 trains, which stop at 161 St-Yankee Stadium. The MTA has also arranged for special nostalgia train rides, featuring the historic 1917 IRT Lo-V and the Train of Many Colors, departing from Grand Central Terminal at noon for a unique ride to the game.

Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) customers can reach Grand Central Madison and transfer to Metro-North or the 4 train, arriving at the stadium in under 30 minutes. Bus routes such as the Bx6, Bx6 SBS, and Bx13 also provide convenient access to the stadium.

Fans are encouraged to check the MTA TrainTime app for full schedules and updates. First pitch is scheduled for 3:05 p.m.

Railpace and MTA have confirmed these details.
