Jay Z #1 on the list again

What more can I say? Jay Z truly is the GOAT.

The recognition is endless and you can now add first rapper induced into the Songwriters Hall of Fame to the list.

According to BBC, "a handful of artist who have enriched the world's culture with their songwriting and music are selected."

Songwriters are eligible for induction after writing hits for at least 20 years. Jay Z released his first album, Reasonable Doubt, in 1996.

Jay Z joins past inductees including Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Marvin Gaye.

Congrats HOV!
