With the Emmys nominations being announced, John Legend is on the verge of doing something only a dozen other legends have ever achieved, joining the EGOT winner’s circle.
This is those that have been awarded at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony.
John got an Emmy nod for his starring role in NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar and another for executive producing the show, which picked up 13 nominations overall.
If he pulls it off John will tie composer Robert Lopez (famous for the music from Avenue Q and Frozen) as the youngest to pull it off at only 39.
But Lopez is incredibly the only one whose won every award at least twice.
