In 2019, everything is categorized; even parking.
A Journal of Statistical Mechanics study breaking down the way people park is featured in the New York Post and the results show 3 things common people do.
- Optimistic People drive right up to where they're going, hoping to find an amazing spot right up front
- Meek People just grab the first spot they see, no matter how far away
- Prudent People might not grab a terrible spot in the back, but they also don't try to get right up front. They'll park "in the middle."
According to the researchers, Prudent People waste the least amount of time "in the overall parking process."
Depending on the day and what I've had to eat I'm either meek or prudent when it comes to parking.
