Using Ariana Grande's likeness was a 'Bad Idea.'
Forever 21 is being sued by Grande for $10-million dollars. The claim includes copyright and trademark infringement following an endorsement deal opportunity she turned down last year.
In the suit, Grande claims the store used a local look-a-like model instead and used multiple images associated with her hit song, "Thank U, Next." According to the New York Times, in February, Forever 21 agreed to take down unauthorized post, but some social posts remained until mid-April.
Forever 21 disputes the allegations but cannot comment further on the pending litigation. "We are hopeful that we will find a mutually agreeable resolution and can continue to work together in the future.
