What a moment it was last night.
I was getting ready to watch the Knicks last night when I got an alert that Hulk Hogan would be on Monday Night Raw. Hogan hasn't been on Raw since 2015. I knew this was big.
Hogan was on the show to pay tribute to "Mean" Gene Okerlund. Mean Gene was to Hulk Hogan what peanut butter is to jelly: a timeless pair. In the 80s, both Hogan and Mean Gene would help to make the WWE the entertainment machine it is today.
Hogan quickly jumped into character to pay one final memorable tribute to Mean Gene (see below).
According to TMZ, Mean Gene suffered a nasty fall back in December and his health was in decline ever since. Mean Gene was 76 when he passed away on January 2, 2019.
