Cleveland. You fought hard. Unfortunately, the #BrownsVictoryFridge only opens with a W. But after that game, we doubt they'll stay locked for long.— Bud Light (@budlight) September 9, 2018
The "victory fridges" in Cleveland are still locked.
If you don't know: over the summer, Bud Light installed locked beer fridges, stocked with free Bud Light, in bars around Cleveland. The fridges will only be unlocked when the Cleveland Browns win a game.
Last night, the Browns did TIE the Pittsburgh Steelers 21 to 21 in OT. I'll consider that a moral victory. So "technically" the Browns haven't won an NFL game since Christmas Eve 2016. That's 624 days. Damn.
Bud Light, way to keep the same energy with moral victories! It's only a matter of time before these fridges are unlocked. We hope.
