Paul Pierce's NBA career came to end last night when the Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Utah Jazz.
Early this morning Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck said "Paul Pierce will be the last player to wear No. 34 for us."
Pierce played on the Celtics for 15 seasons before putting on jerseys for the Brooklyn Nets, Washington Wizards and the Clippers.
According to Bleacher Report, Pierce retires as the Celtics all-time leader in made three-point attempts, free throws and steals. He is also the team's second all-time leading scorer.
