Boston Celtics will retire Paul Pierce's No. 34

Paul Pierce's NBA career came to end last night when the Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Utah Jazz.

Early this morning Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck said "Paul Pierce will be the last player to wear No. 34 for us."

According to Bleacher Report, Pierce retires as the Celtics all-time leader in made three-point attempts, free throws and steals. He is also the team's second all-time leading scorer.

Despite being a Knicks fan and falling to a number of your game winning daggers I appreciate what you've meant to the game. Thank YOU for leaving an impact on and off the court!
