Demi Lovato Still Struggles With Her Eating Disorder

Demi Lovato is no-holds-barred in her new YouTube documentary Simply Complicated. The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer reveals in the film that she still struggles with her eating disorder and more in the candid film.

"Food is still the biggest challenge in my life and it controls -- I don't want to give it the power to say it controls my every thought -- but it's something that I'm constantly thinking about," Demi, who has been vocal in the past about her eating disorder, reveals.

She also shares that she’s not entirely over her ex Wilmer Valderrama.

"I've never loved anybody like I've loved Wilmer,” she says of her boyfriend of six years. “And like I still love Wilmer ... We connected on a level that I've never connected with anybody before. He was just my rock, my everything."

That said, Demi also reveals in the doc that she’s open to dating females.

"I am on a dating app with both guys and girls," she confesses. "I am open to human connection, so whether that's through a male or a female, that doesn't matter to me."

The documentary, ultimately, reveals her trials and tribulations.

"The last decade has taught me a lifetime of lessons," she shares. ”I’ve learned that secrets make you sick, I'm learning how to be a voice and not a victim, I've learned sex is natural, I've learned that love is necessary, heartbreak is unavoidable and loneliness is brutal. I've learned that the key to being happy is to tell your truth, and be okay without all the answers."
