Inside That All Cheetos Restaurant in NYC

People magazine

Someone had to do it.

BuzzFeed and People magazine checked out that all Cheetos restaurant that opened in NYC earlier this month and — thankfully for us — they’ve lived to tell.

Contributing People writer Mark Marino shared that when he checked out The Spotted Cheetah, you’re first greeted by the Frito-Lay mascot named Cheester.

“A pantsless Chester himself was holding court on a large LCD screen, where guests could chit-chat with the cheetah by speaking into a microphone,” Marino shared, adding that LCD Cheester then recommended he first try the Cheetos meatballs.

The menu also consists of Purrfectly Fried Green Tomatoes, Flamin’ Hot Cheddar Mac n’ Cheetos and Cheetos Sweetos Sweet and Salty Cookies.

“I have to say I really enjoyed everything about it, from the kitschy décor (a Cheetos tree, Warholian prints of Burrell and Chesty) to the signature cocktails (the tequila-and-Aperol-based Tipsy Citrus lives up to its name and you may find yourself roaming about pantsless after knocking back three of them) to the deliciously creative dishes (more mac n’ cheese, please!),” Marino concluded.

In fact, Marino wrote that the Flamin’ Hot Cheddar Mac n’ Cheetos was "so decadent" that he "wanted to bathe in it."
