I always told Tommy Tomcat he'd be famous for baseball and I'd be famous for radio and TV.
I'm proud of all his success so far and I'm so happy he's home!
Yesterday the Chicago White Sox completed a trade sending my best friend, Tommy Kahnle, to the New York Yankees along with 3rd baseman Todd Frazier and right handed pitcher David Robertson.
Kahnle was drafted in the 5th round by the Yankees in 2010 and will now help their chase to the postseason.
According to MLB.com, this season Kahnle is 1-3 with a 2.50 ERA striking out 60 with just 7 walks in 36 innings.
"This season's been pretty wild," said Kahnle, who has three remaining years of arbitration eligibility. "Last year, too, was pretty crazy at the beginning. This year, definitely -- I felt like I've figured it out. I'm going to keep doing what I've been doing."
Welcome Home Tommy Tomcat. Keep doing your thing!
